Parents, below you will find review questions that we encourage you to discuss with your child this week from what we learned about on Sunday, May 5:
Also, parents help your child memorize this week's memory verse - Psalm 33:6.
Kindergarten - 3rd grade:
- What did God use to create the world? (nothing)
- What did God call light and darkness? (day and night)
- What did God create that separated the water above from the water below? (the sky)
- Name something God created that grew from the ground. (trees and plants)
- Name the two great lights that God made. (sun and moon)
- Name what God made which lives in the sea and what He made that flies in the sky. (every kind of fish, birds)
- What did God create that was in His own image? (a man and a woman)
- What did God do on the seventh day? (God rested.)
4th-5th grade:
- What did God do "in the beginning"? (He created the heavens and the earth.)
- How did God create the world? (He spoke.)
- What did God make to shine in the day and shine in the night? (sun, moon, and stars)
- What did God say after He created a man and a woman? (that it was very good)
- What did God set the seventh day apart as? (holy)
- What did God do on the seventh day? (rested)
